A little about myself:
I was born and raised on the east end of Long Island. I have always considered myself to be an active person. Growing up out here you could always catch me at the beach or biking around town. I enjoy swimming, biking, dancing, attempting contact sports.. for fun. I never considered myself an athlete though, I just have always loved to move. After having two beautiful babies I really struggled to find time to take care of myself and lost myself in the "mom" cycle. My health fell apart. Eating on the go and not taking time for myself to feel good , took a huge toll on my mental and physical health. So, I joined a gym.. took the first step. I love to Dance so I was attracted to dance class and kickboxing since you needed to have rhythm and coordination. I found what felt good for ME. In fact, an instructor recognized me and said I should teach class too. I fell in love with making classes fun and exiting for other people. It brought me such joy to see everyone smiling and pushing their bodies to better themselves. I found my purpose. Making fitness and health fun for others brings me joy. This drove me to want to help people ONE on ONE so I could customize plans specifically for each individual. We are all so unique in our way and we need to find workouts that are fun and are easy to commit too. Did I mention I also love to eat? Creating new, easy, healthy recipes is another activity I enjoy. I don't have a perfect body.. but its MINE. I love my body and all it does for me so lets take care of the one thing that literally has your back. Lets work WITH our bodies.. not for them.
